I stumble upon thoughts,
Finding the right words to say.
How can I tell you,
The thing that I feel.
It's a painful,
Yet exhilarating emotion.
I cry,
But I laugh.
I'm trapped,
Though I'm free.
I want you to know,
The things I think when I see you.
My mind goes blank,
And I lose myself.
When I'm with you,
I'm scared.
Scared as I may be,
I'm safe.
Depressed as I feel,
I'm ecstatic to be in your arms.
So for now,
All I ask of you....
